Moving!!!

Moving is a PAIN!  I mean literally - I'm in PAIN from all the hauling around of boxes and what not!  hahah!  Today is the last day in our house.  I'm sad and excited all at the same time!

Next week, August 1, will be the reveal for the Summer Lovin' Kit Challenge.  Please stop by to see what all the wonderful participants have created!!!  I am so excited we have 19 participants!

In the meanwhile here is my life in pics lately!

And wait - what's this!?  A bit of delight in the midst of my chaos...Therese (Therese's Treasures ) was traveling through Maryland this past Sunday and detoured for a quick meet up with Maryanne (Zingala's Workshop) and me at our favorite local bead store, Bead Soup!

  1. I feel your pain! I've been in the same house for 10 years. I spent a good part of the summer going through each closet and room weeding out what I don't need or use so I will have more space for living, but I didn't have to haul boxes and furniture more than a few feet!

I can't wait for the reveal. I've got to put a few finishing touches on my piece and write my post, but I'm on vacation until the 1st so it will be no problem.

Stay cool during your move and show us pics once you have your new studio up and running.

  3. Oh my friend I do not envy you at all right now! I hate moving! I even hated when we sent our daughter to college and then brought her home! I am hoping this all goes smoothly for you and is done before you know it! Hugs!

  5. Good luck with the move! It's a chore no one likes, but it is kinda fun to set up your stuff in a new place. I sent my stuff cross country with PODS (it took 14 days), so to be extra safe I also used packing tape to tape shut my various and sundry bead boxes, just in case the boxes all shifted and fell.

  6. Hi Amy,
Good luck with the move I know you will be glad when this part of the move is over. Enjoy living close to the shore, I know your Son is thrilled. I had a wonderful time with you and Maryanne this past Sunday. I finished my challenge piece today and I am looking forward to seeing what everyone has done with their kit.
