Focus on Life | Week 2

This week's assignment was to capture a silhouette.  It didn't take much coaxing to get my son to sit in on this one!

He's so silly - almost every single time I ask him to pose, he goes right into "the thinker" pose.  Better 'duck lips' I suppose!! :)

Coming next week will be the A Time To Stitch reveal, hosted by Therese & Christine!  Should be lots of fun to see what everyone created.  I'm excited that this challenge prompted me to try a new stitch!
Stop by on Wednesday for the reveal!

  6. Too fun! Love your take on this - shadows are the perfect silhouettes. I like how your son helped you,...my son rarely lets me snap his photo anymore,...even if it's his shadow.

  9. It is just something about a boy at this age to always strike that pose. Awesome picture Amy, looking forward to seeing what you created for the ATTS4.

  10. Both of my children used to adopt the thinker pose for photos too. It's a super photo, I like the distortion of the rail across the middle.

  11. How nice to have such a willing subject. My cats are not so co-operative.

  12. He does look like a deep thinker. This reminds me of those silhouettes that were so popular when I was a girl -- the black profile of a young boy or girl. What a great son!
