For our fourth week in the Focus on Life photo challenge, this week we were prompted to "focus on words. What word speaks to you, makes you laugh, makes you feel good about your being and who you are in that moment."
There's a good chance I have posted a picture of this drawing in the past, because I just love it so much. It was part of a gift from my son, several Christmases ago, and he thought he wrote "Life is Beauty" LOL! ( I had lots of fun playing with the "textures" function on PicMonkey that I couldn't choose just one result!)

It's been on our fridge ever since!

Oh what a treasure! Love the butterfly he drew.
ReplyDeleteOur children are such treasures. This is a great way to show that.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful post - so glad you have this awesome art-piece on display! LOVE that butterfly - I reckon 'butty' is a contraction of 'beauty' and 'butterfly - your son is a genius :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure!
ReplyDeleteLove his words!! That's one you'll keep forever!
ReplyDeleteI had fun playing in Picmonkey too.
Oh my, that is just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYou know what he meant, and that's the great part. Cute drawing, glad you had fun with it!
ReplyDeleteWe still joke about a grocery list my son made when he was about 13 ... and then there was the grade 12 English essay that took place in mid-evil times... I've often though we must sill be in late-evil! Love the starburst you put in that first picture!
ReplyDeleteButty, beauty.... it's all the same! What a sweet treasure from your son!
ReplyDeleteI have a similar misuse of a word from my niece - I love it just as much. She drew "you are the beast" instead of you are the best. Although......
ReplyDeleteThese are the best words!!
