Today is brought to you by the letter "O"!

(Disclaimer: Although this is typically a blog about my beadwork, I do let other parts of my life seep into this blog.  Food and beverage is a huge part of my life as I am the marketing director of a fantastic restaurant group!)

O is for Orange! 

Blood orange, that is!  Blood oranges play a big role in our bars and kitchens, with their vibrant color and their jacked up flavor.

But while they do play a big role adding color and flavor, they sometimes just have a supporting role. Blood orange is reduced into a gastrique for this seared tuna hors d'oeuvre.

But blood orange is big and bold in this Blood Orange Sangria! 


And isn't it a lovely partner to these yellow beets and micro greens!?
